CLS Inc. was established in 1988 by the current President, Deanna Twerd. The company has become a very successful enterprise in its 12 year history, moving through several growth phases to its current format.

CLS Inc. started out as an owner-operated housecleaning service, run solely by Deanna. The company grew to such an extent that the quality of the work was becoming increasingly difficult to control, and Deanna realized that it was necessary to explore alternative operational formats in order to maintain viability. Determined that quality control was the key ingredient to the continued success of Clean Living, Deanna began the re-engineering process with the goal of tailoring the business restructure to satisfy her high standards as well as her personal and family commitments.

The result of the restructuring is a resounding success. The business has been refined and standardized to become a franchise opportunity, with operational and business plans completely established. The new franchise formula provides immediate and recognizable advantages for all: clients, franchisees, and their families. In the short time since the restructuring, 9 franchises have been sold to individuals in the Ottawa-Carleton area, and the company is currently positioning itself to become a household name throughout Canada.
